Sommigen beweren dat het originele beeld helemaal niet oud is, maar een reproductie uit het begin van de 19e eeuw. Het maakt niet uit, want de uitstraling is zo sterk, dat deze behouden blijft als tafellamp. De verhoudingen zijn een exacte weergave van het origineel. De voet is van massief Amerikaans notenhout en de lampenkap van pure zijde. Het zorgvuldig geselecteerde notenhout wordt gewaxt en gepolijst. Het ‘understatement’ van zijn ontwerpen is de reden waarom wij deze bank reproduceren en waarom de originelen collectors’ items zijn. Jean Michel Frank, de oom van Anne Frank, creëerde een blijvende norm in de interieurkunst. Iets wat wij willen doorgeven. De drie-zits en twee-zitsbanken en clubfauteuil zijn verkrijgbaar in stof of leer. Dit geeft zicht op het elegante samenspel van het houten raamwerk dat het blad ondersteunt. Een theekopje wordt een kunstobject op een tafel als deze.
